I would like to be a writer. I began this site with amorous intentions, and over the course of time, I hope to have evolved as a male in an ever changing society that is today, recognizing the true beauty and elegance of woman. I am also into writing poetry. Come along for the ride.

Vine in Repose

Harriet Whitney Frishmuth 'The Vine' @ the MET

Harriet Whitney Frishmuth                ‘The Vine’ @ the MET

In losing myself in a piece of art

I noticed a figure serene in her pose

one cannot help to be moved when

faced with the simple reality of beauty.

Outstretched and arched posture

symbolic of unraveled entanglement

hers is a natural stand of gratitude

that life is sweet in all of her release.

a dancer’s light what might easily say

is the naked breast streaming the sky,

yet how is elegance measured beyond

a stand, a posture suggests harmony

A polish in the sleek design of brass

to meld her thighs to run the lines

of her buttocks, a strength of her legs

to give credence toward physical prowess.

Yet the vine allows a certain unspoken

device of symbolic challenge, Her eyes

if we might glance are fierce with choice

lovely determents will unravel any ties.

A dancer, a real, a woman of serenity

we glance with a quick eye, yet today

I will study, for the definition of her, of you

is my fascination and her dance delights.

The eyes will yearn ambition in release

No longer is she tied, while envy her piece.
