If Needs Might Speak
I want to as much as I could
I would forever swoon,
pour nectar in sweet pools
to kiss your lips a reddish tinge.
Yet held by an internal compass
Leaves me quite shallow without
Yet I glance again your elegance
speaks to my need as evidence.
Perhaps a sweet memory in time
We might there have newly found
Our lives did travel a similar path
that field when my eyes they search
to sudden catch you deep in mind
I wonder then if this glance is real.
swoon … might I speak to her heart
without reveal would I discover
this language of love is forever.
