I would like to be a writer. I began this site with amorous intentions, and over the course of time, I hope to have evolved as a male in an ever changing society that is today, recognizing the true beauty and elegance of woman. I am also into writing poetry. Come along for the ride.

Park College Moments

Diamonds and Rust – Joan Baez

I do remember,

the first time I saw you cross

the walkway you owned,

all eyes upon your lovely soul.

I remember wondering,

how lovely you really were,

I can still imagine you to the day,

I recall seeing everything about you,

green rain boots and comfortable jeans,

a scarf to cover your lovely shoulders

those which I would explore

later on down the road.

I was told by a friend

we should really be dating one another,

I loved her advice,

felt complemented and confused,

but I knew someone believed in me,

didn’t know if it might be you,

but I did wonder,

well into the night and many more,

I wondered about the lovely lass,

green rain boots and elegant sash.

I wandered through school the next few days,

hoping we might encounter each other.

There you were, in the library,

eyes look at each other across the room,

knees locked with lips intent.

We did take that eventual walk,

I now held your hand,

we went on dates in the late evening,

you would when parked car,

rest your head in my lap,

afterward – when my eyes would glisten,

reaction to your passion,

I knew now you were with me,

the woman in the green boots,

and my favorite sash.

I would study your eyes for hours,

pull out my pad to write your words,

never my own,

always inspired by you.

I do remember you today,

just wish I had recalled you then,

everyday rather than my way.

Please, your words are ever so appreciated ...
