In Moonlit Swoon
I would if you she let me,
imagine bronze skin in daylight’s dusk,
cast an illuminate sheen sensual,
I would my lips find her naked serene.
In the moon’s light, I wish to hold you,
to sweep the river’s current so it is,
a steady stream of love’s guidance,
allows our mind to bathe in night beauty.
Oh to have you by my side,
to hold you with a naked shoulder my lips
would travel so my glance would surely
find eyes in sparkle to a passion in moonlight
It is there in a night sky,
the summer setting, the autumn cry,
the delightful nature of her, given me, I sigh.
