I would like to be a writer. I began this site with amorous intentions, and over the course of time, I hope to have evolved as a male in an ever changing society that is today, recognizing the true beauty and elegance of woman. I am also into writing poetry. Come along for the ride.

While Words, We Do Cry

I listened,

as when ever the chance,

her words will direct me,

as a man waiting,

I wonder what will be next

and I do cry,

those are tears meant to happen,

there is joy in a rainfall.

I’m tonight, letting the snow fall,

feeling a sense of reflection,

knowing time has been afforded me,

though the hours remain the same,

the minutes do propel,

the seconds that do allow my thoughts to remind,

every step of the way becomes again a wish,

a hope,

a moment when ‘presence’ means only …

you and me.

this naked coffee speaks only

a memory,

a near yet distant delight

so oft repeated

only today a visual recreation,

for I am alone,

the coffeeshop is in holiday form,

a rare sense of connection,

when watching they’re all happy,

or busy,

or preoccupied yet welcome of an exterior facade,

and then this song comes on

sweet tears take me to a different place.

When I want to reach,

I no longer feel the same urgency,

yet, I do, I want, I beg for the moment to find

that certain outlet,

the real,

the beauty of a sound,

a quiet look, a desperation in passion

when shared overshadows any moment of doubt

ever allows itself to become an insistent reminder.

I want to be inside that world,

a place where love remains,

to hold pieces of hearts together,

to share a certain elegant rendezvous,

measured discreetly in the balance of time,

the privacy of love.

Please, your words are ever so appreciated ...
