What Tears May Seem
I would stand on the horizon for the hour
when in a sudden visual she would appear
As did in a dream one summer afternoon
her persona would cause my heart a swoon.
How do we make allowance for human condition
when likely our lives are drawn by permanence
and what shadows of love we do position
ourselves to feel when lost again in the oft chance.
What tears may seem for me a quiet moment weep
I would so understand this love I feel so deep
so that now as I stand in the isolate change of season
will I wonder while time consumes in strange reason
A silence is tonight my only grasp of this reality in release
though remains confusion, my love for you is asking peace.
