Hiding In Daylight
I don’t know if she can picture,
what it feels like to me,
To imagine how much I believe.
I sometimes look for checkpoints,
They help keep me sane
Wondering about her well-being.
Lost today and privacy seems obscure,
but will remain hidden from the security
this facade, this place, this reality remain.
I wonder if she might know the depth
where my selfish persona will take me.
I wonder confusing is our defining love.
