A Kiss Remain
So sweet to know I’ve touched her lips,
that delight of time with her I might
not let myself forget,
a quiet reminder is eternal
in the silence of a memory.
Oh to sway her eyes in search in nigh,
to know the love I feel is truly mine
I would if now appear
she could respond in tear
might I touch love once again her lips.
If only I may feel her close to my side,
to know I can show her my affection,
if then she might smile,
if while her eyes
do take me places so near love’s sensuality.
