Sonnet I (Love Begins)
When love began, I chose a summer fire,
Sparkling were embers long extinguished.
When sunlight struck, her sweet world did inspire.
My mental state of mind only now wished
Cascades showers of smitten passion true
Where in a world of unknowns, she exists.
I, in need, I hoped her eyes cast a hue,
An elegance, sane man clever resists.
I would love her today, day one, hello
My eyes did plead wondering just, until
Might take a pause, survey a quiet glow,
Yes, I am here, you are here, heart still.
Oh I did recall summer years ago
When blessed we discovered this do we know.
