One time
in the middle
of the summertime,
I would hear a voice,
a soft internal kind,
could tell me
everything I ever wanted to know
about you,
like a steady chime on an
antique grandfather’s clock,
I could count on the numbers
the many times
when she would come to mind,
my feelings,
emotions,
I would then feel the charge of her
sweet remedy
to fill the empty spaces
in my mind.
I wish I knew how to find those times.

Thanks so much, I am grateful – this has turned into a wonderful platform to explore writing with so many valuable writers, contributors, bloggers to share ideas with. I follow Ebony as well, and know truly there are many eyes out here whom I am grateful for. I wish I had 24 hours a day to read everyone’s work here, it only helps me to find my peace of mind with my own writing.

Agree! I love your stuff you have talent and so does she! I recently started this blog It’s the only social media I have I’m definitely in the process of learning I’ve been writing poetry for years I haven’t put anything good on here as of yet I don’t know the ins and outs of making sure that what I put out here does not get taken maybe you can give me some insight with that said I enjoy your talent!

Thanks again, a pleasure to meet you – I think for me, this blog, or my blogs in general are practice writing site. I do try to place copyright on my works, generally speaking though I am realistic about how much I might be able to control someone stealing my words here … I try not to take myself too seriously, at the same time, hoping to someday put together a legitimate archive of my work. I look forward to watching your words evolve here. 🙂

Wow greatly put! Yes, I save my good stuff for when I decide to expand however, I will do as you say copywrite and have my stuff dated etc I may put some small stuff on here just none of my big stuff but with that said your inspiring as well as ebony and crows and I enjoy beautiful talent! Both of which you both expel 😊 admire
