An impulsivity
calls my name
so easy it might be
to join all the others
they become iconic
passages and wisdoms
an afterward
I have an opportunity
a long undisturbed sleep
perhaps there will be dreams
perhaps that parallel universe
where both you and me
really do know
one another
yet we are still not sure
beyond the reality
this life we have led today
is over
sleep in peace
and wake to the rally of
tortured souls whom do stand nearby
in metaphor and circumstance
yet freedom
to stand where they choose
… I do wonder the pensive
glance
there is a posture
when in the silence
eyes do search
toward a light.
