The active light is on every night,
a green light has a special meaning behind
I’ve explained,
more so, I have romanticized
stood with the green light across the bay
in the distance
just like the book,
waiting,
I’m waiting
with remarkable hope.
Things have happened in my life,
to push you away,
I get it,
I understand
and I know that you can hear me.
The solace I feel is knowing you can
hear me.
