Riding a bicycle,
standing nearby a trail marker in the forest,
waiting for a cup of coffee,
getting out of a car,
walking into the grocery store,
holding my hands on my hear for ever more,
each moment will be the same,
all those minutes and hours and time,
drawn by the same circumstance,
only a resolution
would be this
missing memory,
yet everywhere I go,
if I could reach out once,
touch your shoulder,
feel your energy next to mine,
know well,
our lives are interacting in our mind,
if we could,
our eyes,
if we might just
that one more time,
would it be that,
would we
could we ever forget that once
this love
we seem to yearn
would sing as well a harmony
we once felt standing so alone
together
riding a bicycle instead
