Walk me through your silence
for it will cast a shadow
on every reminder of how
our lives did interact
inside the mystery of love.

Oh, if I could bring you solace
in capturing such is beauty
your eyes, your touch eternal
in my mind forever would
this heart and soul choose to pine.

I do remember those evening strolls
each hiding in the quiet
of a world we were soon
not a part of and yet we did
express time our certain passion.
~
The blues of the holiday offer reflection
of distant cry, changing winds will howl.
