There is truth in the legend of dying
we all wonder out loud while crying
We are the living whom survive
knowing only what we do, alive.
There is truth in the legend of dying
leaves the living left wondering
Often when caught up in our realism
is a knowing gain more likely tokenism.
Or did we feel the moment when it began
then couple its power to know is love again.
The living would go on surviving
memory of those we love is shining
There is truly a kindness in the air
Its resonant dance is our nature.
There is truth in the legend of dying
