I stared in silence
candles burning
a regular montage
of serenity
seeking peace
glancing across the room
different aspects of life
in a stillness
drawn by silent flickers
of my imagination.
I wonder if she might
ever know
how close to my soul
she might bring my heart
tonight.
Where we can breathe,
burdens upon our shoulders
lifted by risers in between
the chaos in our mind.
Once when walking high
floating upon our nature
was life a sweet breeze
filling hearts with love.
Today’s winds do color
Beauty of a naked sky
step out from under
the old tales leave us
wishing upon daylight.
Lest our need is to crawl,
embrace our heart and soul
