nothing else really mattered.
To hold you in my arms
watch a sunset,
feel the chilly breeze on
our summer bodies,
looking in each others
seems like forever could be
in this moment and nothing more.
I’d like to go back there
even if she only joined me
for a minute,
that would last a lifetime in my mind,.
I would then know
everything I believed
to be true and not a lost fantasy.
