Looms in a quiet reflection
some said aloud trigger,
an inside story,
or maybe just a silent storm
of wild remorse,
the sort that no one will ever know
beyond a possibility.
There lays a confusion
in the absent mind
a forgotten
responsibility rejects
any or all imagined
prior lives
while lives do matter.
‘la petit mort’
drawn conclusions
where eyes
might ponder a dream,
the soul,
where we find our tear
will always survive.
